Milestones of 2008
Jehovah’s Witnesses spent close to one and a half billion hours in their public ministry in 2008, and a new peak was reached in attendance at their most important annual event, the commemoration of Jesus’ death. There was an 8.7-percent increase in the number of persons studying the Bible with them. This year has also seen another outstanding publishing feat; the number of languages their instructional material is available in online surpassed 375.
